Pop Connection connects primary schools with their local communities. This is done by creating an ‘enjoy and achieve’ project. It uses the entire school to record its very own pop music CD. The CD is then launched at a big community concert at a local church. The result is the school, church and community groups come together to celebrate the achievements of the children and this results in the cementing of strong working relationships between these groups. |
