FUNDING THE PROJECT
One of the aims of Pop Connection is to excite and involve the entire community in celebrating the achievements of the school. The involvement of community groups, the church, the PTA and local businesses is crucial to the project working successfully. We want these groups to see how they can invest in the life of the school by helping it fulfil its 'community cohesion' policy. Therefore the costs are shared between the school, the church, local businesses and other community groups.
The project always results in strengthened relationships. It creates a platform for the school to work together with these organisations in the future, and it brings together the whole community to celebrate the achievements of the children.

The costs for the entire project
£600 for the school
£600 for the church, local businesses and other community groups.

Pop Connection is part of a Christian charity whose ethos is that all people are to be valued equally, regardless of their gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, age or physical or mental capability; and supports the Government requirement, to “develop an understanding of the school’s community in a local and national context, including an awareness of each of the three strands of faith, ethnicity and culture, and the socioeconomic dimension.”
